Dear Hon. Stewart-Cousins:
Grassroots for Greenburgh (GfG) fully
supports the Human Rights Commission proposed for Westchester County by
the Board of Legislators. We applaud your efforts to assure equal
protection of the law for all of Westchester County residents.
We urge you and the Board to remain
steadfast in support of this important anti-discrimination legislation. It
is essential for all residents of Westchester County to feel secure that
their government is enabling them to stand before the law as one people
regardless of their race, gender, age, sexual orientation or national
origin.
For our part, GfG will help you in your
effort by disseminating to the larger community the need for this
purposeful and noble legislation. GfG represents a group of concerned
citizens in Greenburgh who seek to preserve and enhance the quality of
life in our Town by advocating sound, effective and equitable Town-wide
policies and procedures.
Please feel free to call upon us for any
assistance. We also invite you to visit our web site which is listed
below.
We thank you and the Board for your efforts
on behalf of a better community.
Sincerely,
/signed/
