GRASSROOTS FOR GREENBURGH August 18, 2006 BERNSTEIN v. FEINER (BERNSTEIN II) COURT PAPERS FILED The following legal documents and reply papers are a continuation of the “Bernstein II” court case which petitioner, Robert Bernstein, Edgemont attorney, has filed to compel the Town of Greenburgh to charge Greenburgh’s six villages for the cost of acquiring and maintaining the parks and recreation areas which are open to all residents. At present, only residents of unincorporated Greenburgh are paying for the parks and recreation areas. The Town failed in its attempt to stay the lawsuit [Town loses motion for a stay], and the Court denied the villages’ attempt to intervene in the suit [Villages' motion to intervene denied]. The most recent court filings posted below are Mr. Bernstein’s reply affidavit in further support of his request for entry of judgment and the Town’s response to the Bernstein II lawsuit.
